Watching The Eraserheads live in Singapore

It was my first time to watch a concert overseas. And it’s not a foreign act. It’s one of my favorite bands in the Philippines, The Eraserheads. You may think that it’s crazy to go to Singapore and watch our fellow countrymen perform even though that we can watch them here. After they disbanded, I saw them reunited in 2008. Then, I was able to get a chance to watch the Eraserheads in 2009. After 2009, I thought that was the last time that I will be able to see them live. Thus, when I heard about the Singapore concert, I got really excited.

I arranged the hotel booking and as well as the purchasing and the claiming of the tickets. I asked my friend and former colleague to claim the tickets for us a few days before the concert (Thanks Maylen :D).

One of my favorite parts in the concert is that when Raimund started taking a photo using his mobile phone.

Another one is when Raimund and Marcus are laughing. Who wouldn’t love to see them having fun on-stage right? 😉

Then, I spotted an inverted E sticker on Buddy’s bass guitar!

I haven’t seen Marcus play any other instrument. It was my first time to see him play this particular stringed instrument.

For me, my favorite song that night was Overdrive. It was so beautiful that it gave me goosebumps!

After the concert, we lined up for the Meet and Greet. Thanks to Aileen and Jay and their friend from Beyond Photography Productions for this experience. 🙂 We were given posters when we’re already inside the backstage. Then, our posters were signed by all of them and we had the usual picture taking with the band. Check out Sharlyne’s post for our meet and greet picture with them.

Thank you Beyond Photography Productions for the successful Eraserheads concert in Singapore. Thank you also for our free Meet and Greet passes. We weren’t really expecting it.

How I wish that I’d be able to experience taking pictures of my favorite band from a photo pit some day with the other photographers. 🙂
