I just watched the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 this weekend. I loved the soundtrack of this film, just like the first one. Hence, I searched for the Vol. 2 mixtape. I found one on YouTube. However, I wanted it to come from an official source. During my search, I found out about a Disney and Spotify collaboration. I visited this website to generate a retro playlist based on my selected Spotify playlist. The playlist is now named Coldplay!!!- Vol. 2. It has 20 tracks from various artists. My playlist has songs from Queen, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Fleetwood Mac, Sex Pistols, Led Zeppelin, and more. Continue reading “Guardians of the Galaxy: Throwback your Playlist”
There is a new trend going on in Facebook where one posts a status containing a list of 10 foreign acts one has supposedly seen live where one of which is a lie. In my Facebook timeline, I have seen it evolved into:
- 10 bands I’ve sessioned or played with (one is a lie)
- 10 foreign bands I’ve interviewed (one is a lie)
While we were walking along the streets of Hongdae, we chanced upon a Korean rock band performing. We didn’t understand the songs that they sang but it seems like that they have a big fanbase. Aside from Romantic Punch, there are other street performers around the area. However, they have the most number of audience in the area. It is also interesting to note that the fans of the band are also passionate in singing their songs while they’re performing. Hope to see more street performers here in South Korea.
It’s gonna be my first time to watch Coldplay live, my first time to watch a foreign act overseas, and my first time to go to Thailand. Me and Sharlyne did a little research on what not to bring to avoid additional inconveniences that we may experience on the day of the concert.
We found a website (originally written in Thai) that contains information that we need. Continue reading “Preparing for the Coldplay Concert in Bangkok”
Last 2016, I ran 244.9km according to my Runkeeper data. I was inspired by Mark Zuckerberg’s goal of 1 mile per day. Since 1 mile per day seems not realistic to me, I opted for a 1km per day. Sadly, I still didn’t meet it since I’m still 121.1km short. Continue reading “2016 Running”
Whenever I drive, I would usually tune in to Jam 88.3. And since I would like to discover more music (something that might be new to me and not to you), I just followed the Jam 88.3’s Weekly Top 30 on Spotify. Continue reading “Jam 88.3’s Weekly Top 30 on Spotify”
The Dawn celebrated a repeat of their 30th anniversary at The Music Museum last night. I missed the first one that was held at the Craft BGC last September. I’m glad that I didn’t miss this one 🙂
Yes, this was certainly our party. We stood up after a few songs were already performed by the iconic Pinoy rock band The Dawn. Some were drinking beer while singing with the band while I was drinking my Rhum Cola and was taking photos in between.

Just yesterday, we were tuned into Jam 88.3 and a Brass Pas Pas Pas Pas song caught our attention. Yes, the title is Chilli Garlic Buttered Shrimp. It’s a feel-good song that would make you hum or sing along with it instantly. True enough, I kept on singing it while we’re at the grocery which made Sha so annoyed. 😀 Continue reading “I want my Chilli Garlic Buttered Shrimp”
This album by Alanis Morisette is one of the first CDs that I bought. I remember, I was on a vacation with my Dad in the US when I bought it. I was around 14 years old at the time if I’m not mistaken. It was probably one of the most played CDs at home because we loved listening to Jagged Little Pill. It came to the point that we can no longer play it due to the scratches it has sustained. Continue reading “20 Years of Jagged Little Pill”
Since I’ve started playing Words on Tour by Zynga on iOS, I haven’t explored any new games lately. Suddenly, my friend Vanessa introduced me to That’s So Random. The game was developed by UglyBread Games, an indie game development studio based in Toronto, Canada. Continue reading “That’s So Random iOS Game Review”
