I’m here at SM Marikina with other bloggers for the wi-fi stress test. We’re currently at CyberZone (at the ground floor). I’m using iPod Touch as my test device while most are using their laptops. Earlier, I was able to connect near the main entrance of the mall and it was pretty fast. I was loading GMail then.
Sha won the ASUS laptop that SM Marikina raffled off after the event. A great “birthday gift” indeed. 😀

IveBeenHere, is a Facebook app that I’ve worked on with Melvin Vivas. The app aims to promote Philippine tourism. It is an interactive Facebook app that utilizes Facebook features such as the publishing a feed story to a user’s profile every time an app user tags a place that he/she has been to or a place that he/she wants to go to, and other activities such as sharing photos from a Facebook album to a particular place, comments/reviews you made on a place and seeing the activity feed of your friends who have added the app on the home page of the app. Continue reading “IveBeenHere got featured in Inquirer.net”

The album launch held at Eastwood last Friday was not really the typical album launch where you will get to watch them play all the songs in their album “Sweetheart Snackbar”. However, from the album launches that I was able to attend, Duster’s was unique. This is because it was not only the launch of Duster’s new album, but also the launch of Rock Ed Philippines’ Girl Code Project. Continue reading “Duster Album Launch and the Girl Code Project”
Last week, San Miguel hosted a pre-Valentine’s party and the best thing of course is that you don’t have to pay tickets to get in. 😀 The party was held for two days (Feb. 12 and Feb. 13). We were able to attend the Friday-the-13th party. There were performances by Mocha Girls, Soapdish, Kamikazee and others. Continue reading “San Miguel’s Pre-Valentine’s Party”
We just attended a press launch at San Miguel Corporation’s main office in Ortigas where Coffee Break Island performed too. Last Tuesday, we went to the UP Fair dubbed as Rockultura where all the members of Eraserheads was supposed to be there. Cambio was not able to perform which means that Buddy Zabala was not there.
It’s a good thing that there was no riot when we went there. However, I felt sorry for those who were at the UP Fair last Friday who witnessed it. Continue reading “UP Fair Rockultura: the Aftermath”
