ely’s condition is now stable. and they’re very thankful for all your

thank you very much for coming t the show. we really felt the cheering
and the singing and the love you all gave.

thank you for understanding that the show had to be cut short.

ely was in no condition (emotionally, physically) to play but he did.
and he gave it his all which is more than we could ask from him. given
the circumstances he was in.

we all wish him well. we are all confident that he will recover soon.

i promise to give you another eraserheads show as soon as possible.

again thank you very much

Eraserheads Reunion Concert: 08.30.2008

Eraserhead Reunion Concert daw

POST UPDATED: Songs that were supposed to be played in the second set

The first imagery that Sha and me saw while we were on our way to the concert venue riding The Fort bus is the sign above. Indeed, all roads lead to Fort Bonifacio Global City Open Grounds. And so, instead of going inside at the right side of the stage, we went to the left side of the stage for the VIP entrance since we already know where most people will come in. 😀 Continue reading “Eraserheads Reunion Concert: 08.30.2008”

POST UPDATED. Read more for Official Details on Ticket Release

If you remember the years before the Eraserheads was disbanded, the band was signed with Sony-BMG. They had a 10-year contract with them. And it would really make sense that they will be the new producer of the concert. I could just imagine outside that there will be CDs for sale. Anyway, it was already confirmed in the Eraserheads mailing list that they will be indeed the new producer. Continue reading “Sony-BMG and the Eraserheads Reunion Concert”

Authentic T’boli guitar (Hegalong)

T'boli Guitar
T’boli Guitar (Hegalong)

I was able to buy an authentic T’boli guitar for only 600 pesos (near Ponce Apartments). I saw one being sold at eBay.ph for 2,500 pesos. However, the bidding ended already last month. The T’boli guitar has only two strings. The guitar is long, slender and it’s light when held. Joey Ayala uses the same kind of guitar that I bought. Eraserheads Concert will push through on Saturday but it’s not free

Here’s another update from Raymund Marasigan from the mailing lists:

dear everybody

after much ado. the eraserheads concert is most definitely pushing through.

philip morris and its brands have pulled out from the concert. but another company is taking over the production. the turn over started yesterday and they have already started work on the site in the fort. so you can check.

there are good news and bad news.

unfortunately it’s no longer free. all the long winded registration procedures in the red nation site is now void.

the good news is that the age limit is now 12 years old (for safety reasons) and tickets will be sold so you don’t have to wait for confirmation and what not.

the official announcement and ticketing details will come out in major newspapers and on the radio on tuesday.

these are the only details i know for now so no need to email me. i’m just the drummer.

btw. i just got home from the last rehearsal. the band is cooking. we will see you all on the 30th.
