Last week, I just got two invites to the advanced screening of Transformers the Movie. 😀 And I’ll be watching it tomorrow, Friday night after office! Continue reading “Transformers the Movie”
My nephews won in the week 3 of National Geographic’s in the Womb Twins Contest. The photo above was the one submitted by their Mom. 🙂 I was in Autodesk Solutions day when I became aware of the voting and I was not able to vote for them due to the lack of internet access there. I’m looking forward to the Japanese Film Festival this year since I haven’t gone to the Eiga Sai last year. 😀 I was able to get the schedule from Laryh’s Multiply account. The film fest already started last week at Shangri-La Plaza Mall and the last day of screening will be tomorrow (June 26). Next week, from July 2 to July 5, you may catch the film fest at UP Film Institute in UP Diliman, Quezon City. The final run of the film fest will be held at the CCP Dream Theater (July 4 to July 8). I’m really looking forward to watching this film in July 7 since it’s a Saturday 😀 . And of course, I’m looking forward to watch a free non-Hollywood movie. Continue reading “Eiga Sai”
I really was not able to take fantastic photos from the Toy Con 2007. And so, after they called the 100th cosplayer and I’ve realized that there are a lot of them waiting in the queue to be called, I just roamed around the Megatrade Hall and took some photos. Continue reading “Toy Con 2007”
I was not aware about this Fuji Film Promo when my sister asked me a favor to have her digital images printed. I added 10 additional photos to make it 101 photos. 😀 The promo is you can have digital prints (4R size) if you print 101 photos. The promo is until June 30 only. 🙂 Do not forget to ask for the free photo albums. Hehe!
The Vince Noir Project, as described in their MySpace profile, belongs to the Psychedelic, Indie, Electronica genre. I bumped into them after they finished recording at Road Runner (our office is in the same building with Road Runner). They are composed of Aless (Vocals), Diego Mapa (His Royal Madness, synths and other electronic requirements), and Tani (Guitars). Continue reading “The Vince Noir Project”
It was the first time that I joined my officemates for a videoke trip last Friday. We opted for Red Box because it was the nearest place. However, it’s more expensive there compared to IO. The entrance during primetime (7pm to 12mn) is 399 pesos inclusive of two bottles of beer. I just consumed the two bottles and I did not order additional drinks because a bottle of beer there costs 75 bucks. By the way, they have a 10 percent service charge and a 12 percent VAT. Ouch! TriNoma (Triangle North of Manila) is a new addition to the Ayala Malls and it’s their largest mall development. It’s located in the corner of North Avenue and EDSA which is an ideal mall location. According to Wikipedia, it will be connected to the MRT North Avenue Station. Also, there will be an overpass connecting TriNoma and SM City North EDSA. I was just ranting when I went there that there should be an overpass connecting the two malls and a connecting bridge to the MRT station. Continue reading “TriNoma”
Lately I’ve been getting “spam” network messages from Multiply. And it is quite annoying to get one (or more) of those in your email. In fact, one of the members of a certain group that I belong to already posted a network message and reacted about it. The best way to get rid of the annoying messages is to edit your email alert settings and make sure that you only receive notifications on personal messages sent to you and new posts and replies from your contacts.
Is the spam coming from a human spammer or from one of those spambots lurking the world wide web? I hope Multiply will do something about this one.
