The USB Fan is cool. It can twist and therefore entertain you. The fan blades are not the type that could injure you. Thus, it’s safe even when there’s children around. And of course, it is USB powered (duh!). At a time like this, who would be needing a USB fan? It’s freakin’ cold! I could have used it in the office. However, with a room temperature of 21 degrees (Celsius) temperature inside, the USB fan would make my hands a lot more numb which may cause me to be unproductive. I was searching for mobile hard disks in eBay. One particular listing got my attention. It has a subject heading 80GB MP3 Hard Drive for Business. The item has a starting bid of 12,000 Pesos and is being sold for 13,000 Pesos. I read the description of the item and the seller claims that it is loaded with 15,200 songs. Aside from the mp3s, other goodies are also included (tutorials and other stuff). However this listing promotes piracy and we all know that this is against the user rights agreement of eBay.
“Potentially Infringing” means that items may be in violation of certain copyrights, trademarks or other rights. For your protection, some items here are not allowed (“prohibited”), regardless of the legality of these particular items, because they almost always violate copyright or trademark laws.
Everyone in the blog parteeh was amazed by Marcelle‘s magic. Aside from doing magic tricks he’s also a DJ at Wave 89.1. You can catch him on Insomniacs with Kel and Gia from Tuesdays to Fridays (2am to 6pm).
After watching his magic tricks, I suddenly remember that I actually attempted to do a magic trick. And it was certainly a lousy attempt. I was watching a lot of David Blaine and then I searched for his tricks in the Internet and I was not successful. Hehe. 😀
Everyone got a blogparteeh07 Goodie Bag! 😀 And of course, a free WiFi access from eYP which is useful for bloggers who are on the go. Check out the pictures of Blogparteeh07 in my Multiply. Thanks to Jayvee for lending me his Canon Speedlite 580EX and to Markku for the book. Apparently, I was not aware that Bo Sanchez was giving away some books and since Markku already have a copy of that book, he gave it to me instead. Hehe. 😀 I was also able to take home some Krispy Kreme donuts. Actually, this is the reason why I came to the Blog Parteeh! It was not because of the iPod or the JBL speakers. 😀 Of course I am just kidding. Hehehe!
I saw this sign inside one of the restrooms in one of the branches of a big fastfood chain. The sign is a step-by-step visual guide. Each picture has a short caption that is direct to the point making it a suitable guide for the rest of us.
Nah! It’s not just a teeny weeny fly. It is a big fly. In the vernacular, it is called as a bangaw. The sight of them makes me want to say eew in my mind. They’re dirty. They have a close encounter with the feces and some rubbish too. Certainly, you do not want to see such creatures on your food. Apparently, my officemate just had this experience after buying her lunch in one of the Jollijeeps along Rada St. After opening the styrofor, she discovered one large fly in it. I just got my Ajax for Dummies book from John Merrells of Embrace Mobile. I was able to come across on his question in LinkedIn. He was asking where he can find someone who knows how to skin a WordPress blog. I replied there and I made the template for him. In exchange for the small job, I got this book. 😀 Thanks again to John for the book! 😀 I’ll experiment with AJAX soon. 😀
Last Friday night, I had a photo shoot with Dad and yes, he was my model. The photo was used for the ACPAPP Supplementary which was available with Philippine Daily Inquirer dated January 23, 2007. During the photo shoot, we even argued about the whole body photograph which he insisted and the half body photograph that I suggested. The whole body photograph that I took was later on cropped. Hehe. 😀
It seems that Dad’s getting another dose of exposure in PDI after his article being published there in 2003 and after being interviewed on his comment on the Toll Price Hike. 😀
In the last Christmas blogger meetup, the Blog Parteeh was already being discussed. I’m still not sure if I’ll be able to come. However, I still posted my email address 😀

Who would have thought that a brand name such as Rentokil would offer washroom services such as hand dryers? My initial reaction upon reading this name is that the name seems to be a group of gunners that one would rent to kill. I guess this name works well with their pest control services 😀 since it has a very good name recall and goes well with their mission. In fact, I was able to think of a tagline for it. It goes something like this, “Rentokil, Hire Us and your mosquitoes will perish.”
