Justin.TV is like the popular TV show Big Brother in some ways. Justin wears the camera 24 hours, 7 days a week. And that is even if he’s in the bathroom or on a date. And according to the website, he’ll wear the camera until the day he dies. It was launched on March 19 and it has been running online for nine days already . (more…)
The much awaited music video from Paramita is now playing at Myx. The concept of the video is ala vintage style. I got the clue from Ping Medina’s multiply album photos and as well as Pong Ignacio’s album photos. Nic Reyes is the director of the music video. Aside from Paramita, you’ll get to see Ean and Armi of Up Dharma Down in the video. And of course, you’ll see Ria wearing a dress! Hahaha!
Pursuit of Happyness was based on the true story of Christopher Gardner portrayed by Will Smith. Will Smith’s son, Jaden Christopher Syre Smith, is also in the film portraying Christopher (the son of Christopher Gardner). The film showed the struggles of Gardner in pursuing his dream. Some of the struggles that Gardner encountered are: homelessness, tax seizure (leaving him with around $20 in his bank account), getting jailed and a lot more. The film may be inspiring but do not be fooled. In order to make this film to have more impact to the audience, Gardner did not receive a stipend in the film for his internship but in reality, he received a stipend worth 1,000 USD monthly. (more…)

Bridge of Terabithia is based on a novel of the same title and is directed by Gabor Csupo. The film stars Josh Hutcherson (as Jesse Aarons) and AnnaSophia Robb (as Leslie Burke). I haven’t read the novel yet but after watching the movie, it makes me want to search for this 1977 novel written by Katherine Patterson. The novel has created a controversy among the conservatives for they think that it promotes New Age religions and for its sexual content. This is a heavy drama movie. Thus, you should bring your handkerchief or a tissue with you prior to watching it. (more…)
I just watched the advanced screening of Night at the Museum and it’s the kind of movie that you should watch when you feel like laughing your heart out. This movie is about a newly hired security guard at the Museum of Natural History who discovers that everything in display comes to life. This is caused by an ancient Egyptian curse held by a golden tablet. Maybe it is just one of those movies where the main man saves the day however, this film makes it suitable to be watched by kids because of the lessons that may be learned from this film. (more…)
Pardon me for being sort of an ignorant when it comes to local television lately since I rarely watch TV. I was surprised last Sunday when I saw YouTube being shown in Wazzup Wazzup. I’m not sure if it’s just a special feature or a regular segment (called YouTubero?) there. I really cannot remember what video clip I saw on the Wazzup Wazzup teaser last Sunday. I just searched for a video tagged with youtubero and I found this.
