Bloggers Unite - Blog Action Day

In my efforts to help save the environment, I am posting this entry in response to Blog Action Day. Other people would rather write their journal entries in paper rather than online. For me, I do not think it is practical. That is why there is WordPress and Blogger, and a handful of other blogging tools. (more…)

Jessica and Daryl

I formally introduce you Jessica and Daryl. :D Jessica is a brown poodle and Daryl is a shitzu. We got the puppies as a gift and they’re so cute and cuddly. :) It is a challenge though to take their photographs yet I find it fulfilling especially if I get the right shot. Daryl arrived at home first before Jessica. Thus, when Jessica arrived, Daryl was showing signs of jealousy when he was biting her.

So I got the UAAP Final Four Doughnuts plus two glazed doughnuts. The UAAP Final Four Doughnuts are chocolate dipped doughnuts that are topped with sprinkles. The colors of the sprinkles represent each team of UAAP’s Final Four and they are: UE Red Warriors, DLSU Green Archers, ADMU Blue Eagles and the UST Growling Tigers. Thus, the colors of the sprinkles are red, green, blue and yellow respectively. All of these sprinkles are mixed with white sprinkles. :D (more…)

I just finished conducting two seminars. The seminar last week was all about integrating Microsoft Excel with basic accounting and the other one is about the trends in web design. You may find it quite weird that I gave a seminar on integrating MS Excel with basic accounting. I really did not know why it should be me. Anyway, I have knowledge on using MS Excel especially in my first work where I used it mainly for recording statistical data and doing analysis. I also have knowledge in basic accounting simply because we’ve had that kind of curriculum when I was in high school and it was also part of our ENGECON (Engineering Economics) course way back in college. Some time in June, I was interviewed by the Community Editors of Autodesk Manufacturing Community. It was really an honor to be featured there. In fact, Garin Gardiner of Autodesk posting a comment on my Inventor blog already means a lot to me. :D. Before I received the newsletter in my e-mail, my colleage sent me an instant message with a link pointing to the interview. Again, thanks so much to the Autodesk Manufacturing Community. :)

Front view of the transformers shirt

I just got my Transformers shirt from Yuga. :D It was announced last week and I was only able to check the results a couple of days after it was announced. :D I thought I’d be getting a free size shirt. To my surprise, I got a body-fit type and good thing that the size of the shirt is just right for me. :D

The Cure Postcard

I’m not sure if the postcard just arrived from Singapore or I was only able to see it just now. Anyway, Jared sent me a postcard with a picture of The Cure and some details of the concert that I blogged about some time ago. Thanks to Jared for the postcard even though it makes me upset that I cannot watch them hehehe :D

Three spoons bent at the same time

I attended the Tastes of Asia Blogger Meetup which is an event sponsored by SM Hypermarket. About 100 plus or so bloggers were there and there are lots of new faces. I was able to meet a lot of bloggers there such as Happy who was introduced to us by Jomar. (more…)
