Some time in June, I was interviewed by the Community Editors of Autodesk Manufacturing Community. It was really an honor to be featured there. In fact, Garin Gardiner of Autodesk posting a comment on my Inventor blog already means a lot to me. :D. Before I received the newsletter in my e-mail, my colleage sent me an instant message with a link pointing to the interview. Again, thanks so much to the Autodesk Manufacturing Community.

I just tested the LightScribe technology using the DVD burner in my laptop and it has let me experienced a new way of labeling discs. The labels are laser-etched and not printed. Thus, the label won’t get smudged or peeled off. (more…)

I just activated my Smart WiFly account and I’m currently using it in posting this entry. This is a great deal especially for heavy internet users. If you’re going to use the internet in coffee shops, etc., you have to pay 100 pesos per hour just to use the internet. With this service, I’ll be only paying 199 bucks on top of my Smart Bro monthly service fee. And I will have internet access on AirborneAccess Hotspots.

Lately I’ve been getting “spam” network messages from Multiply. And it is quite annoying to get one (or more) of those in your email. In fact, one of the members of a certain group that I belong to already posted a network message and reacted about it. The best way to get rid of the annoying messages is to edit your email alert settings and make sure that you only receive notifications on personal messages sent to you and new posts and replies from your contacts.

Is the spam coming from a human spammer or from one of those spambots lurking the world wide web? I hope Multiply will do something about this one.

It’s nice that Apple came up with the 5 Rs Assistant. Jam’s iPod nano went berserk. I was able to restore it at first but when I unhooked it from the PC, the same message “Use iTunes to restore” would appear. I went to an iPod center to ask what could have been causing the iPod to act strangely. They said that it could be a hardware problem. So, I just read about articles in the internet on what to do if your iPod would seem as if it broke down. (more…)

And so even after my brother loaded the Sony MP3 player with 1.5GB worth of pure emo music, he exchanged it with Sandisk’s Sansa e260 MP3 Player. I was able to get my hands on it last night. When I checked the mp3s loaded, it’s not pure emo music and so, I erased it and replaced it with 300 tracks. (more…)

I am now releasing my first public Wordpress theme. I haven’t uploaded it yet though in the Wordpress website. It is a two-column Wordpress theme and the best part about this is that it is a widgetized theme . You may download this from this page. April Fool’s Day started early with my officemate texting a prank joke. And I was so gullible that I believed it. I bet she’s laughing her heart out. Haha. As I was about to check my GMail, I was surprised by Gmail Paper.
