No, I am not a drunkard that is heavily dependent of a Jack Daniels branded alcohol. And again, no I am not a fan of some guy named Jack Daniels. I just bumped into the wonderful site of ilovejackdaniels.com a week ago and have given so much respect to Dave Child (the owner of the site) for preparing handy cheat sheets for web developers and designers alike. Cheat sheets that are downloadable for free (in PNG or PDF format) are Ruby on Rails Cheat Sheet, ASP/VB Script Cheat Sheet, HTML Character entities cheat sheet, JavaScript Cheat Sheet, MySQL Cheat Sheet, MOD_Rewrite Cheat Sheet, CSS Cheat Sheet, PHP Cheat Sheet and the RGB Hex Colour Chart. The site has become helpful in my daily adventures with PHP and MySQL since I’d really like to learn how to develop a site that is database driven. And IMHO, you really do not need to buy a book about building database driven websites. There an awful lot of tutorials and resources that are freely available online.

Much Music is a Digital Music Blog that offers free music downloads. One particular interesting album that I was able to download is an album containing Coldplay songs played by a string quartet of various artists. My favorites there are Clocks, In my Place, God Put a Smile on Your Face, and Yellow. Hearing their arrangement of the string quartet (violins, viola and cello) is something that will give you the goosebumps. Coldplay should come out with an album (something like the best of Coldplay) plus the string quartet since the album that I downloaded is purely instrumental.

Basang Panaginip by Michael is just some of the few blogs using Blogger API that has caught my attention especially in terms of design. His approach in design was very minimal. But what made me notice his blog more is that the comments are modified. Provided that the hosting is not from BlogSpot, then you would not even notice that it is powered by Blogger API.

Get updated on SEA Games via RPSports.Com. The website has an up-to-date medal tally for each sport. It also indicates if it’s a Gold, a Silver or a Bronze Medal. They have a blog as well which is powered by Movable Type. Photo Albums are also available for public viewing. You can also join the forums for the discussion. I got the link from Raul Roa’s photostream in Flickr. He’s one of the photographers in RPSports.Com and also one of the bloggers in the Unofficial SEA Games 2005 Blog.

Nobody Said it was Easy is the blog of my friend Lee (bassist of Mayonaisse). Go and check out her blog. It’s really funny. She posted some edited pics on Photoshop and she made it seem to look like a movie poster. It was so cool. It’s title is I’m Dying to Meet You and it. It was written with blood and the background is a grave. Hahaha! This is something like a post-halloween entry special. And then she made a comics style of her conversation with her friend using photos taken which reminds me of the Hello Garci comics that circulated on the internet.

I’ve been an avid reader of Jessica Zafra’s works. My collection ranges from Twisted 1 to Twisted 7. Let me also include Womenagerie. The other one is a compilation of sorts entitled as Fast Food Fiction where one of compiled stories is of Jessica Zafra’s. I do not have a copy of Twisted Flicks yet and the Chicken Pox for the Soul. But I will get one. And for those who have been reading Miss Zafra’s Twisted, let me bring to you a wonderful discovery via Carlos the Streetwalker (got through his blog via a Flickr community), click here. She’ll dominate the world that’s for sure.

Here’s my blog’s worth in USD

My blog is worth $59,276.70.
How much is your blog worth?

Got the link via Rain’s blog.

Thanks to Toni, who belongs to Blogkadahan, for suggesting a fairly interesting site to visit. It’s a StripGenerator where it’s interface is designed in Macromedia Flash. It allows you to drag and drop characters, objects and bubbles. The generated comic strip is in Flash format. I just made a screen capture of the comic strip since it seems that there are really a lot of people trying it out. You may view mine also at this page.
