I’m excited about the upcoming WordCamp Philippines 2008 because Matt Mullenweg is coming! The conference will be held at DLS-College of Saint Benilde on September 6, 2008. The list of speakers are not yet finalized but the topics are interesting and would cater from beginner to advanced Wordpress users.

As a camper what should I expect aside from all the things that I’ll learn?

Campers would get a conference kit containing:
1. WordCamp Info (overview, organizing team profiles, schedule of activities, etc.)
2. giveaway CD (see list of contents below)
3. sponsors’ printouts (to be provided by sponsor)
4. and more!

Campers would get a giveaway CD containing:
1. latest version of WordPress
2. WordPress plugins
3. WordPress themes
4. Documents or videos from sponsors (e.g., company profile, marketing blitz)

Now that you mentioned it, I hope the CD also includes themes and plugins made by Pinoys. (Though they could be outdated for WP 2.6.)
