The much awaited music video from Paramita is now playing at Myx. The concept of the video is ala vintage style. I got the clue from Ping Medina’s multiply album photos and as well as Pong Ignacio’s album photos. Nic Reyes is the director of the music video. Aside from Paramita, you’ll get to see Ean and Armi of Up Dharma Down in the video. And of course, you’ll see Ria wearing a dress! Hahaha!
My blog is blocked in China! I tested using the website Great Firewall of China. John Chow’s test result is also the same as mine. However, he mentioned that when he was in China, he was able to access his blog and as for my blog, I was not able to access it there. Thus, I was not able to blog there. So I did an offline blogging instead. I just wrote everything in Microsoft Word and saved the document. Then, I just copied and pasted the entries when I got back in Manila.
I just hoped that my URL is not blocked in China as suggested by their disclaimer:
this version 1.0 may report sites as being ‘blocked’, while there are only technical reasons for their unavailability.
It’s greatfirewallofchina.org’s aim to collaboratively build a community that will be able to visualize Internet censorship in an increasingly accurate way.
Pursuit of Happyness was based on the true story of Christopher Gardner portrayed by Will Smith. Will Smith’s son, Jaden Christopher Syre Smith, is also in the film portraying Christopher (the son of Christopher Gardner). The film showed the struggles of Gardner in pursuing his dream. Some of the struggles that Gardner encountered are: homelessness, tax seizure (leaving him with around $20 in his bank account), getting jailed and a lot more. The film may be inspiring but do not be fooled. In order to make this film to have more impact to the audience, Gardner did not receive a stipend in the film for his internship but in reality, he received a stipend worth 1,000 USD monthly. (more…)
My nephews are a big fan of WWE. This is pretty much obvious in the above picture where Lance poses as John Cena. In addition, Justin (Lance’s twin) posed as Umaga. Aside from those, my brother helped them collect all the slam cards from 7-11. Of course, he bought most of the cards from the kids outside 7-11 in Better Living so that he could complete it. (more…)
Sundo is Imago’s single from the album Blush and it has a music video! The music video is directed by Marie Jamora. The video was shot in Cambodia according to Zach Lucero (Imago’s drummer) and they spent three days there looking for the scenes. Hmmm, is this for real Zach? (more…)
The T-Shirt Project has a website! I’m pretty sure that you have heard of Spoofs Ltd. which owns the brand Spoofs. Of course, a lot got amused with the FedUp shirts and as well as the Bokia shirts that wearing a Spoofs shirt became contagious. Spoofs Ltd. also owns Branded and is popular amongst the gig-a-holics where you could spot one wearing a “Giniling Festival Nakamamatay” shirt. There are also shirts (under the Malisya brand) that are not suitable for minors for its message. The website is soon to be e-commerce enabled. Thus, you could shop online in the near future! Prior to shopping in their website, you must first create an account. However, let’s just wait for the online shop to go live.
I tested my Canon Speedlite 430ex earlier and of course I’m happy about the investment that I made. Of course, I asked my sister to model for me. I still have to learn a lot of stuff from the link that Rain suggested. I still have to do a lot of reading to understand some flash photography jargons that I was not able to encounter yet.
