Who would have thought that a brand name such as Rentokil would offer washroom services such as hand dryers? My initial reaction upon reading this name is that the name seems to be a group of gunners that one would rent to kill. I guess this name works well with their pest control services :D since it has a very good name recall and goes well with their mission. In fact, I was able to think of a tagline for it. It goes something like this, “Rentokil, Hire Us and your mosquitoes will perish.”

If you want to show the world that you are such a fashionista by flaunting your mouse, then you should get this. Of course, for people who do not want mouse that are not ergonomic, this is not their to-die-for type of mouse. Perhaps, Hello Kitty fans would love this since it would match their Hello Kitty mouse pad. :D (more…)

I just observed that there is an ad with Kjwan all over it in my Yahoo Mail. I really do not pay much attention to the ads in my Yahoo Mail. When I clicked the link, I got this information:

I just watched the advanced screening of Night at the Museum and it’s the kind of movie that you should watch when you feel like laughing your heart out. This movie is about a newly hired security guard at the Museum of Natural History who discovers that everything in display comes to life. This is caused by an ancient Egyptian curse held by a golden tablet. Maybe it is just one of those movies where the main man saves the day however, this film makes it suitable to be watched by kids because of the lessons that may be learned from this film. (more…)

When we do not know a title of a song that we just heard, and the only thing that we remember is a couple of lines from the song what we usually do is to use a certain line of that song as our set of keywords in searching for lyrics in the internet. While I was browsing where my readers came from, they were searching for “umuwi ka na baby ko lyrics”. I just found out that this is just another case of misheard lyrics. I just scratched my head and said to myself that there is no “ko” after “umuwi ka na baby”. Surely, there is “ko” somewhere in between Hanggang Kailan by Orange and Lemons.

Thus, the next time you do not know the title of the song and the only line you could remember is “la la la la”, do not bother searching for it using any search engine. Trust me, you do not want to have a headache. :D

MyBlogLog is a social networking site made for bloggers. I joined just this month after finding about it from Cesar. One thing I noticed about this site is that it has no ads. Their business model is something like that of Flickr where you need to upgrade your free account for a cost (25 USD per year) so that you could maximize the built-in statistical tools. The statistical tools will tell you where your readers came from (links), what they have read in your blog and your outgoing links. If you have a free account, you will only see the last 10 of it. From the 2005 World Pyro Olympics. United Kingdom’s fireworks display.

One word should sum it up all. Traffic. Traffic leads to fear (fear of not being able to get home for the lack of public transportation). Fear leads to anger (anger caused by the biggest traffic jam ever). Anger leads to hate (and because of the traffic, you’ll hate fireworks that caused the traffic). Hate leads to suffering (and yes we would still suffer no matter what). (more…)
