Everyone in the office seems to be so curious on how I looked like in my prom dress. My prom dress, the same dress that I used when I had my 18th birthday, is an off-shoulder gown. The cloth is made of satin. And the color is royal blue. My prom dress was not custom made. In fact, we bought it at some store in Harisson Plaza. And for those who were not able to attend in my debut, I know that you are dying to see that picture. I repeat, I do not have a digital copy of that photo. The only people that were able to see my picture are those who were able to visit our house. (more…)

Guide to Buying Used Cars
2 Comments Filed under Tidbits
Buying used cars can be really quite a drag because you have to make sure that you are getting a good buy. And it is indeed a tedious task. There are a lot of websites that are selling used cars and even accessories for that matter. For those who are in California, you might want to try used cars in San Diego and of course for those who are in the Philippines, just go to tsikot and ebay-ph. Aside from websites there’s the popular Buy and Sell but it would be a lot better if we could see the photos first before contacting the person about the car. Around the metropolis, there are a lot of businesses that are engaged in buying and selling of cars, you may want to take a look there too. However, you may not be able to haggle the price of the car because you’re dealing with a third party and not the owner of the car. (more…)
Barney’s favorite word is legendary
2 Comments Filed under Watch
I just started watching How I Met Your Mother. And it’s too bad that I was more than a year late for the first season of this TV series. My brother got a DVD copy and I saw him watching there and he was laughing like crazy. Thus, I watched with him and I found myself laughing my heart out. During the course of the 6-episode marathon, I figured that Barney’s (Neil Patrick Harris) favorite word is legendary. He never failed to say the word legendary every time he’s going to do something that others won’t because they do not have enough guts. One perfect example is licking the rim of the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia. In this TV series, he mentioned the word blog a couple of times and it was not shown there on TV. Thus, I searched for the internet and found out from TV Squad that Barney has a blog and he has an entry about his “legendary experience“, something monumental or perhaps something crazy :D.

Murphy’s Law

Have you ever experienced something like not being able to bring your umbrella and then it rained like there was no tomorrow? Or maybe you could have experienced something like you’re about to print something that is due the next day and then you suddenly ran out of ink or a paper was jammed into the printer. Another classic example would be you have a paper due the next day and then you accidentally turned off the computer without saving your work. I guess we’ve had a handful of experiences like these one and such can be related to Murphy’s Law. Murphy’s law states that “Things will go wrong in any given situation, if you give them a chance.” I’ve learned this from one of the Lasallian brothers when I was in DLSU last week. (more…)
The traditional first paycheck blowout
No Comments Filed under Food Trip, Family

It has been a custom to treat your family after receiving your first paycheck. Just this evening, Claudia treated us at Zong for dinner. When we arrived there, we thought that it will take time for us to be seated. We’re plain lucky that all the other guests belong to a group of more than ten. If you’re going to treat a big group, I suggest you and treat your family or friends at Zong for lunch or for dinner. It’s also good to make a reservation so that you won’t have to wait in line.
