Above in the video is my nephew singing Narda by Kamikazee. This song rocked the radio stations by storm. It has even become an anthem to five-year old kids and of course, my nephews are included there. Even videokes found on streets has the song Narda on their playlist. The song has become popular not only because of its catchy tunes but because of the simplicity of the lyrics and also because of the song’s main theme which is love.
It was April when Pinoytechblog reported on Yahoo Mail Beta and after a few months, I was able to give it a try a few minutes ago of its Microsoft Outlook look-and-feel. What I liked about it is that you can read your RSS feeds there. By default, the RSS feeds that you will be getting is the Yahoo Mail Updates and the Yahoo News Full coverage. Clicking the Calendar and Notepad will bring you though to its previous look-and-feel. The banner ad that you will usually see on the top is now located on the right most side. You do not have to turn to the next page to be able to see your older messages. All you have to do is to scroll down and you will be surprised how fast it is. And if you think I am using a DSL connection, you’re wrong. Hehe. I’m just using dial up. And if you still want to switch back to its original interface, you can do that too!
I bought a wallet that is similar to this one. However, the material used in the picture is better than that of the one that I had acquired about a month ago at Tiendesitas. The price on the website selling that item is around USD 30 which is roughly 1,500 bucks when converted to the Philippine currency. Guess what? I got mine for only a 100 bucks that provides the same functionality and at the same amusement to my friends. I would not recommend you to place your credit cards and ATM cards there though. Just place there your 20-peso and 50-peso bills. A 100-peso bill is acceptable but do not place a lot of them there. You would not want to lose a huge amount of money just in case you accidentally drop it. Hehe.

This is your chance to support your favorite Filipino bands/artists! Make that difference! Vote now online if you weren’t able to catch the Rolling Polling booths of NU107. And yes, I am one of those who missed the rolling polling booths and as well as the free stickers they usually give.
I was supposed to be at COMDDAP (Computer Manufacturers, Distributors and Dealers Association of the Philippines) this week when I found out from our officemate that COMDAPP will be moved on a later date (October 26 to October 28). The tent was damaged by Milenyo and it really must have costed them a lot since it is the largest customized exhibition venue.
TIP! If you are planning to buy or upgrade your computer or purchase printers and stuff, just wait for COMDDAP. Dealers and distributors usually have promos during trade shows.
Last Sunday morning, I attempted to call the Meralco 24-hour customer service hotline. And indeed it was a hotline. I can hear the Meralco jingle over and over. And to in order to free myself of its LSS-like-song characteristics, I put the phone down. Instead of boring myself to death on a Sunday afternoon, I went to the mall, met a friend there (who sent the picture below to me via bluetooth) and crashed gate a birthday party. Well, not really crashed gate a birthday party hehehe!
Yngwie Malmsteen will be performing live at Fort Canning Park, Singapore on November 9 and my friend will get the chance to watch it there. Most probably, while he’s watching the concert, I’m stuck in my room coding something.
Yngwie is a Swedish musician and composer. He pioneered neo-classical metal. His influences are Jimi Hendrix, Steve Hackett of Genesis, Brian May, Uli Jon Roth, and Ritchie Blackmore of Deep Purple. Aside from them, his biggest classical influence is Niccolò Paganini who is a 19-century violin virtuoso.
