Getting your Starbucks Planner
Getting the Starbucks planner is not easy I tell you. Imagine yourself gobbling up on all the 21 drinks and draining your wallet at the same time. If you’re the only one filling it up and have quite limited resources, then what you could do is to organize a Starbucks tambay session with your barkada. If you are a big barkada (e.g. 21 people), then you could get your Starbucks Planner in just one day. Isn’t that great? How about inviting the whole block (or section) to the nearest Starbucks branch? If you are around 40, you could get a Starbucks planner and you only need two drinks to fill the other one. However, the problem is that you’ll just make the baristas to curse you because of the awful lot of drinks that they have to prepare. Aside from that, when you go out with your family, you could ask them to have coffee at Starbucks. Or, if you have a friend who’s going to Starbucks and is not interested with the Starbucks Planner, just tell your friend that when he orders, just tell the one from the cashier that he just left his Spark Hope stub. Just make sure that he’ll give it to you within two days. And if ever you’ll claim it, make sure you order at least one drink. If your friend won’t give you the receipt, play as his conscience and tell him the Spirit of Christmas and the children that will benefit from it after completing the 21 stickers. Hehe! Happy Drinking!

I got my planner around November
Our sportsfest team had enough funds to treat each member to a Starbucks drink. I think I got 7 or 8 stickers during that day. [Masakit sa loob ko, tatlo kami sa team na nangongolekta ng receipts for the planner :P]
Also, drag your officemates to the nearest Starbucks! If you must, treat him or her to get a receipt hehe.
And, I must say, it helps to have a husband you can drag every weekend for a Starbucks drink

If your officemates or friends are reluctant to part with their hard-earned devalued pesos, you may offer to give them rebates in exchange for the stickers.

Nowadays, the planner is always of out stock (at the Rufino/Valero branch, near office). The barista seems to keep a lot of reserves for her friends. It s_cks to see my mom claim her planner a couple of hours after I tried claiming mine.

[…] So yesterday I discovered that some of my classmates use their Starbucks planner not to actually get some uh, planning done, but as a quick and easy diary. It is, after all, important to keep a journal of your daily activities, just in case the police drag you off to some gulag and start questioning you about where you were and what you were doing during so and so. (Hence, when those pigfucker police have you in a dimly-lit room and start chocking you with a wet towel, you can oh so casually say that yes, your Starbucks planner says you were in the harbour taking in a shipment of drugs) […]
